CHAPTER-MUSLIMS SHIITOV ZAPRESCHAET ALL FORMS OF SMOKING

BEIRUT (6 June, 2001, the Associated Press) elder-Muslims Shiitov issued a religious decree banning all forms of tobacco in order to protect health. "Smoking causes cancer and eventually leads to death. That is why I issued a fatwa (religious decree) against smoking "- said in an interview Mohhamed Grand Ayatollah Hussein Fadlalla. The ban includes cigarettes, cigars, and hookah pipes. When asked reporter that his decree could vozmutit smokers in Lebanon and the Arab world, he said that the fatwa issued this out of love for them and for their safety. Fadlalla stressed that the Koran recommends Muslims avoid anything that harms the body, such as alcohol and gambling. Fadlalla Shiitskoy priest is the main religion in the world.
